I've had it this week.

  1. I have a similar dream, where I am trying to find the classroom, usually on the day of the final.

  2. I have two: I'm failing calculus, and once again missed the drop date, or I'm showing up for the final and only then do I remember that I've been absent for most of the semester.

  3. This dream and forgetting my locker combination.

  4. Does this mean that school officially qualifies for a PTSD diagnosis?

  6. Me, too. I have that dream when I am stressed - which is most of the time. Oddly, I didn't find college all that stressful - it was the best time of my life.

  8. This looks just like the xkcd forum on the topic, so I will share the same information here. Last night I dreamed I was betting on cow races. I won $700 on MOO.

  9. I have this dream at least twice a year, and it is always college, not high school or med school, that I am in and forget that I had a class, never go to any classes, then find out I have a final.

I wonder why we all have this dream?

  10. Yup--PTSD! Finding the room for the final when you suddenly remember you skipped class all semester! Or, mu latest variation of trying to without sucess to find a flight out of various European airports for some urgent reason....

  13. Interestingly, I dreamed for years that I was going back to my undergrad Univ. - trying to find an apartment, register, etc. Then, I went back to school in real life at age 40, and the dream went away.
