I usually enjoy reading the blog over at Freakonomics, as they often come up with fascinating stuff. Then again, this post about TV and autism seems way off base to me. In fairness, though, they don't seem enamored with it themselves.

What seems off base, the study or the Freakonomics critique?
"Not enamored"? My impression is that the Leavitt was downright dismissive, just not snarky.

The Freakonomics guys all lie and rely on imprecise measures and bendy statistics. Don't trust anything they say.
