Last patients today: a husband and wife with an infant under six months of age for their H1N1 shots.
Wife: "Can I ask you a question?"
Sure, why not. Turns out her neck had been bothering her for a week or so. Nothing much to get excited about (nor was there much to do for it), but I rubbed it for a few moments with moderate relief. She sighed and said, "Can you please write a prescription for my husband to do that for five minutes every night?"
Husband's response: "I don't take your insurance."

He must be an HMO executive.
She has to pay out-of-pocket for that?
Good thing they're married, or else that would be illegal (unless he's a licensed massage therapist).
Or is the fact that they're married irrelevant, and it's still illegal?
I can't imagine that your local police dept. has anything more important to do than investigate this, so you should think of calling it to their attention.

LOL...Of course, she's lucky he doesn't charge her double for being family! A massage always feels better from a stranger anyway...
Happy Holidays to you and yours.
all the more reason to promote universal health care. It protects families!
haha!
dick.
well then.. methinks her neck pain will make it impossible for 'conjugal relations' - so to speak. and forget any of the 'specials'.
