Another Article

Many thanks to Medscape for again featuring an article of mine:
The Emotional Ups and Downs of Solo Practice
Blogging has been light of late because other stuff is driving me stark raving mad. I'm sure I'll get back to it in short order. Really exciting stuff on the horizon. Really.

Great article, doc. I too practice alone - yes, in a big department, but my practice and my patients are mine alone, and I don't have the kind of relationship with my colleagues that some partners in private practice have. So I completely understand what you mean by doing it alone.

If ever you want to share a little joy, or a little sadness, or a little something interesting you saw in the office today, drop me an email and I'd love to hear about it.

Really appreciated your article. Which of us has not had similar experiences? And there is absolutely no one you can talk to about them, except another doc. Also happy that the article led me to your blog. Reading about Jay Rosenberg's cookery book made me smile...a memory from the Chapel Hill of the 1960's. Please keep writing! SoloRuralObGyn
