I have a guest here now with end-stage breast cancer. She is a lovely woman and working hard to keep her spirits up. Her family is all around her, possibly for the last time. I am trying my best to make her stay as comfortable as possible and to provide a little extra pampering if I can for both her and her husband, but I am an innkeeper and not a nurse. Still, I hope this week is a good one for them.
